Southern Kaduna is a mosaic of languages and culture. Today, many dialects are on the edge of extinction. SabiTribes is an online movement and learning platform where youth, elders, and community champions can learn, teach, document and sell cultural items — to restore our identity.
We built an accessible online school + marketplace where learners, instructors, organizations and sellers meet to save our mother tongues.
Bite-sized video lessons, full courses, and pronunciation practice created by native speakers and linguists.
High-quality recordings, native voice practice, tone drills and listening exercises ideal for Gen-Z learners.
Local discussion boards, peer-practice groups, and cultural events (virtual and physical).
Local authors upload texts, storybooks, dictionaries and printable guides.
Sell attires, crafts and books to support creators and encourage cultural entrepreneurship.
Course builder, onboarding guides, templates and templates for lesson flow and scripts.
The biggest barrier to learning local dialects was access to fluent instructors and structured content. SabiTribes built a platform to connect elders and fluent speakers with Gen-Z-friendly teaching formats — video, audio, quizzes and printed materials.
